From back cover.
On the road swings to the rythms od 1950s underground America, jazz, sex, generosity, chill dawns and drugs, with Sal Paradise and his hero Dean Moriarty, traveller and mystic, the living epitome of Beat.
Book looked really promising, and it had it's moments... but I couldn't really see the plot, It did become a bit redundant, with more or less the same thing happening over and over again. But nevertheless I do understand why it became a classic.
