The Hot Zone: A Terrifying True Story
3 journalers for this copy...

One of the best of the 'scary' science books. This deals mostly with the quiet response to the outbreak of Simian Ebola like virus in Weston VA, USA. Scary as a what if. Fast enjoyable read.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Left on an outside table on a hot night. I hope you enjoy finding the book and would appreciate a journal entry letting me know it's safe. Thanks.

Caught from the bookshelf in the southeast corner, which is maybe a new feature? Anyway, released two of my own books there, and picked up a pound of the great J&S Obama blend coffee beans

Started to skim through this, and quickly found myself riveted, especially by the section set in Reston, Virginia. The background detail is fascinating, and the suspense is breathtaking. I honestly don't know why writers like Robin Cook and Michael Crichton keep cranking out their contrived fictions when real stories like this are so much more exciting.
But that's just one person's opinion. Future readers, what do YOU think of this book?

Left in Grand Saloon

Terrific and easy read! Graphic and scary but I couldn't put it down! Made my flight time from Boston to Ontario via Chicago feel much shorter. Thanks, Bro, who picked it up from a Mississippi River boat cruise last month and read it before passing it to me. This book is moving on! Enjoy!
