Very good book about growing up: a young woman learns a great deal about life and some of the difficult decisions that you must make in order to be moral and ethical. Well -written. Anna Quindlen used to be a columnist for the New York Times.

I found the book in a catholic church. It was very wonderful in bringing back memories of growing up in the 50's and 60's in New Jersery. It was easy to relate to. I highly recommend it. Anna understands. I plan to send it to my friends in Phila. with whom I hung out at the N Jersey Shore.

My mother's friend sent her the book. I have just finished the book, but now it is my mother's turn. After that we will decide which one of our friends is next!
