I finished reading the book yesterday. the book is my cup of tea, as it belongs to the mystery genre. In brief, the story circles around the life of Kinsey, a private detective/investigator and a recent case she was assigned to called the wood case, if i recall it correctly. Kinsey was framed in an offence and several deaths took place subsequently after she tries to get the truth herself (i'll stop here, its more fun to read the book yourself). The story picks up slow, but gets more interesting chapter by chapter. The author, sue Grafton from my observation likes to include minor details, to describe events or the surroundings (in malay its called 'ayat bunga-bunga'). She also uses some bombastic words or therms, which is not known to all readers, take 'circumstantial evidence', which fortunately i have just learnt about. All in all, the book's ok, i'll like to read her other works when i have the chance.
passed on to my sister (so it's labeled reserved).will be released to the wild once she finishes it.
---------------
so ok, i officially released it to the wild on 20/11/2011 (love the number) approximately at 8 am at the Mawar-Melati bus stop station, Universiti Teknologi Mara, Shah Alam Selangor, Malaysia.
