A hefty number three in the series.

Book Three in the Songs of Fire and Ice series was so far my favourite. What I enjoy most I think about the series is the way the author to the most part has veered away from the usual good vs evil scenarios and instead tends to embue each character with their own levels of good and bad. Sure there are some evil bad guys and saintly good guys, but by far the majority are simply human, ambitious, self deluding, good and kind to friends and evil to enemies.

Liked it so much, have moved straight onto book 4.
