From playing seedy strip joints in Toronto, to joining Saturday Night Live and helping to form the Blues Brothers, to being onstage every night with David Letterman and playing with the greatest musicians of our time, Shaffer has lived the ultimate showbiz life.
- From the back of book

This is my 999th registered book, and it is yet another FFW that I will read eventually.

For the past week or so I've been reading this during work breaks. Good stories so far, and I especially enjoyed the bits about Andy Kaufman - I hope there's more about Andy to come, and look forward to who else will pop up. It's been a little confusing with the chronological jumps back and forth, but it's manageable.

A fun book full of interesting anecdotes about Paul's life. Would probably be more fun for a reader who's more into the music scene than I am and could relate more to the various musicians that are talked about.

On an inside table around 3:30pm on April 20, 2019.
