Hmm, this is quite different from the first book in the series and perhaps this has coloured my judgement of it. I was quite looking forward to more of the supernatural shenannigans from the first caper, but this didn't hit the same mark - I found it a little dull. However, I do love the main character, it is an easy read and it is refreshing that the author hasn't fall into the trap of keeping to the same formula for a particular series.
