My thoughts...this was a wonderful story of a four-year old boy's visit to heaven. Colton's father tell the story as it unfolds in the months after his visit. Heaven is described in a child's innocent and simple terms. It gives us all hope and something to look forward to.

This was an amazing read. I can't help but wonder if it's true, I'm a little skeptical. BUT, at the same time, it leaves me with hope and a feeling of peace.

He saw angles, Jesus, and passed family members he had never met. Colton's father Todd retells the story leading up to the surgery and how Colton slowly reveals his time in Heaven.

Book arrived today. Just in time as I am on the last few chapters of my current read. Should be able to start reading this book by end of the week. Thanks for offering this book for others to read. Can't wait to delve into it. :-)
Years ago, my sister "died" in a drowning accident and was revived en route to the hospital. When she was able to speak, she told us of her experience of traveling to Heaven and back. Needless to say, it took my family aback and I can certainly relate to what the Burpo family experienced with young Colton. Ever since, I have been very interested in other people's descriptions of Heaven and near death experiences. What make this experience different from others I have heard/read is that it is told by a very young boy who would have very little, if any, knowledge of certain details related to family members, God, Jesus or described in biblical writings. This book causes one to reflect and definitely inspires. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful little book with us! I already have the next participant's address and will drop it off in the mail this week.

Happy 2012! So sorry that it has taken me so long to journal this receipt! I have the book and have been so busy in the past month I have not had time to do anything with it yet, but I should be able to get through it soon now and I will have it on its way again before very long.

I enjoyed this read and found the presentation to be sincere. I am reminded of an experience from my family where a little boy of a similar age to Colton also had a medical emergency and afterwards came out with interesting statements about things he saw. It certainly offers food for thought.

Book has arrived safely with me. My mom asked to read this, so I'll get this to her in the next couple of days, and will update again here later.
Spoke to my mom earlier today, and she said she's already finished the book. She really enjoyed it, and some of her other comments - "This must have really happened. Otherwise, how could he know about his Pop (grandfather that he'd never been told about) or his baby sister (who had been miscarried, and the parents didn't even know if it was a boy or girl)."
I don't know if my mom has ever read a book this quickly; I gave it to her on Monday and she'd finished it by Thursday. She'd just started on a Danielle Steel book last weekend, but I think this book quickly jumped in front. She said she didn't want to hold it up if it had to go to someone else. (Spoken like a true booklover, and bookcrosser-in-training - although since she doesn't use a computer, she won't be one in actuality even though she's heard my BC stories for years.) Mom also said 2 of her good friends read this book and told her about it, so I was very pleased to be able to share this bookring with her. (I'm so happy that Mom has recently re-discovered her love of reading. I always remember Mom reading magazines, but never books. She's recently come back to books, and I've shared different ones with her. I never knew before where I got my love of books/reading, but now I know.)
This book will soon be ready to travel home. Thanks to all the previous readers (and esp. Dabercro) for sharing.

Yay! Thank you for this wishlist book Flossie771. I have been wanting to read this for a long time. I already started reading it and it's interesting. I believe in an afterlife but I am not sure if I believe this kid. He was on few talk shows on TV last week. He said there are cats in Heaven but he "doesn't like cats". His family was behind in their mortgage payments...
Anyway, I am enjoying the book very much! I love when people tell me they get messages from their loved ones in the Afterlife
