One typo jumped out at me.
It's not just the typo. It's the syntax, the word choices, the phrasing. All of it says to me, "not a native English speaker". It's the kind of thing that, if I get in an email, I assume is spam.
The site needs an update or it will die.
I don't disagree with that. But the kind of thing I see on that page is exactly the kind of thing that has driven me off other sites. An example: the Lyric Opera changed their site last year. It now has very heavy graphics, to the extent that I cannot see all my upcoming performances in one place. It's resulted in a situation where rather than exchange tickets on the site, which used to be quick and easy, I now call the box office instead.
It is increasingly common for websites to use such large graphics (and don't get me started on infinite scrolling!) that it is difficult to find actual information. And it's the information that's important.
