Hellboy by Mike Mignola
Coincidence by J.W. Ironmonger - Has anyone read this? I think it had a slightly different title in Great Britain.
but I'll have to think about my goal for a bit. I'm finding it hard to accomplish SIY #41 because I keep reading more library books instead of books from my TBR list.
A Nun's Story by Sister Agatha with Richard Newman
My next nonfiction for this Challenge is Queens of the Conquest by Alison Weir, the hefty first book of a planned four volume history of England's medieval queens from 1066 to 1485, starting with Matilda of Flanders, wife of William the Bastard, and ending with Anne Neville, Richard III's queen.
I've already started my next nonfiction, Raven Seek Thy Brother by Gavin Maxwell, the last of his memoirs/autobiographies, published in 1968 before his death in 1969.
I don't think I posted what my first book was, mostly because I was busy reading it. Book #1 was Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver and I was quite wrapped up in it. Here's my review:
Then I immediately picked up the small White Sand Blues by Vicki Delany which took hardly any time to read.
#1 is a library book and #2 is from my TBR list.
Next I am going to read Son of a Trickster by Eden Robinson which is shortlisted for the Giller prize this year.
Travelling to Infinity, My Life with Stephen by Jane Hawking, subtitled/tagged: The True Story Behind the Theory of Everything
Spadework was interesting but not Findley's best work:
That makes 4 out of 11 books from my TBR list read now (and 4 library books as reported in the last update).
I am now reading The Power by Naomi Alderman.
Mary Curzon by Nigel Nicolson
