....the 200 or so that I viewed. Inspiring - now I'm cooking up ideas for more themed releases. NB: 'Seems to me, that you get more response (wild finds journalled) when you released 3 or 4 - or more - books at a time. We certainly found this at Word on the Street Festival in Toronto. For some reason, people find a group of books less intimidating/more fascinating.
and those of you who are inspired to start taking release photos please do share them at http://www.flickr.com/---/610310@N25/

and remember they do not all have to be this 'interesting'. I and others upload plenty of release photos that only get a few views because they are just books on benches etc :-)

Oh merci ardachy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Although I have contributed many wild release photos to the Celebrating Bookcrossing Wild Release Photos Group over the years, I admit I don't spend so long browsing the photos there as I used to. Thanks for highlighting these; it was great to view them in a Flickriver stream. I love the variety of release spots, from the high mountains to the city centres and all weather from bright sunshine to deep snow.
I laughed that a few times I went, "Oh that's my picture of the book at... Oh no, it's not! It's Ardachy's release at the same spot!" ;-)
