This weekend, US Daylight Savings Time starts in most states, so time to go around the house and spring-forward the non-internet connected timepieces.

So, this week you're looking for a picture of something that keeps time on the cover, such as a watch, hourglass, clock, etc.

Have fun!

Well, this will be an interesting search....! :o

If I found one, would a sundial work?

I included more or less bad pictures for most of the books, especially for the more obscure means of transport. Correct pictures may be in the journal entries instead of the header. For some covers where the vehicles are rather tiny I also added detail pictures to some journal entry. See yourself.

The last one is a very special themed release for this week. That Black Forest village claims to be "the home of the cuckoo clock" - i.e. the place where cuckoo clocks were invented (evidence suggests otherwise, though). Guess what all the tourist shops around try to sell. However, "Original Black Forest Cuckoo Clocks", whether made in China or elsewhere, are usually bought by japanese, american and chinese tourists and hardly ever by Germans, so they probably fail to sell them in Corona times...

I released the book in the village center at a sculpture of a cuckoo clock carrier.

The themed release wasn't actually planned and the book was just the one remaining clock book I had available. We hadn't really researched the place before going there, we just wanted to go on a little hike and chose the destination by having acceptable public transport connections and being located about 1000m above sea level. It had snowed during the week, and from about 800m upwards we could expect to find a white winter wonderland which is not very common in our region in March.
