Challenge rules: WILD release books with the word "wild" in the title or subtitle, or the author's or illustrator's name, for just one week, starting on April 18th, through the 24th.
For books in languages other than English: there may be several synonyms for "wild", but please choose just one - ideally, whichever one is used for "wild release" on this site, though if your language doesn't use a single word for that kind of "wild", go with whatever's closest in intent.
Embedded words are okay. (Like WILDe or even WILDerness.) Books like
Books released at OBCZs and LFLs are considered wild.
No need to sign up - just start posting in this thread on April 18 your time. Please keep track of your own release-counts. The release posts should include the book's title (and, if the "wild" word is in the author name or subtitle, that as well), plus a link to the book; if you've added a release photo and/or if the release spot is especially interesting, feel free to mention that.
Please include the name of the challenge in the release notes. A link is even better. And if you participate in any of the following, feel free to post your releases there as well, to help spread the word:
Flickr's "Celebrating BookCrossing Wild Releases" group: https://www.flickr.com/---/610310@N25
Facebook's "Bookcrossers" group: https://www.facebook.com/---/2224064277/ [and/or other BC-related FB groups]
And on International BC Day itself, April 21, there's a Facebook event on the official BookCrossing page: https://www.facebook.com/---/1271144939652295/
I'll award wings for a month to the person with the most releases, and also to another participant - either chosen randomly, or as recognition for an especially marvelous release.
How many wild books can we release?
