2017 Rules: WILD release books with WILD in the title or subtitle, or the author's or illustrator's name, for just one week, starting on International BookCrossing Day, April 21st, 2017, through the 27th.
Embedded words are okay. (Like WILDe or even WILDerness.) Books like http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/13157944
Dual releases with other challenges are great. (For example, "Wildflowers" also works for the 2017 April Showers/May Flowers wild-release challenge (4/15-5/15) by GoryDetails.)
Books released at OBCZs and LFLs are considered wild. Pictures don't count, just words.
PLEASE for clarity's sake, just put the name of the challenge and the number of the releases in your subject line when you post, like this: Into the Wild Wild Release # 1 – 6. No stories or descriptions, just the numbers of the releases on the subject line and a list of the books in the post, like this: http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/8714911
PLEASE don't *just* list the BCID. Post the title (and author or illustrator if that is what is “wild”) as well. Looking at a number isn't any fun. Seeing what books you've released (titles, authors) is fun!
PLEASE don't post planned releases here. This is a Release Challenge, so please don't post until after the release note is actually done.
Please include the name of the challenge in the release notes. A link is even better.
As charming as everyone's stories, anecdotes, and unrelated pictures are, please save them for the Chit Chat forum or other Challenges that allow them & post here only releases that meet this Challenge and in the above format, and only after you have made a release note. Please don't post books you plan to make release notes for in the future or that will not be released for this Challenge at all. Save those for the Book Talk forum instead.
No prizes, just for fun. Join us!
How many wild books can we release?
