I'd like to leave some books near local media - TV stations, radio, etc. - though that may depend on the weather. I've ordered the newest International BC Day bookplates, and am setting aside a mix of genres so I can release a nice variety on the day.
I'm hoping to CELEBRATE the many facets of BookCrossing by making a Release of each type...Wild, Controlled, RABCK...and perhaps even start a Bookring/ray/or box...with each book shared counting for Multiple Release Challenges. ; )
Wilderwoman and I plan to spend the day releasing books in several places for International BookCrossing Day, and for my Release Challenge, the 4th annual Into the Wild Wild Release Challenge http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/540152 which I started in honor of International BookCrossing Day.
We've lost our best release spot where for years and years we used to be able to leave dozens and dozens of books. Even though the customers and staff loved them, their corporate office said no more books, so we need to make a plan of a number of stops with smaller quantities of books at each.
My International BookCrossing Day bookplates have arrived so I'll start registering my Into the Wild books soon. : )
Therefore, I am registering five books to use these bookplates and will release the books on International Bookcrossing Day. I normally release my books at a Starbucks that has a bookshelf or at a Little Free Library. I may wild release a couple of these books in random places.
In addition to participating in solittletime's Wild Wild release challenge, I released books in languages other than English; I tried to label the books in English & the appropriate language (hopefully I got it right), but I don't have labels in Hawaiian or Korean.
Mostly with release photos, except for the last one, because the camera didn't cooperate.
