I have changed the rules to no proper names or punctuation, but am allowing multiple words as we are just now doing a one word only challenge so there won't be a lot of one word books left to release in October.
I didn't mean that we should limit it to one-word titles, just that only one of the words in the title should count - so if I released "War and Peace" I'd only nominate the word with the highest score.
I don't want to limit the number of books a person can release for the challenge. The idea of challenges is to get a lot of books released and I haven't seen anyone else limit the number of books anyone could release for their challenges.
Challenge rules can vary widely, and I have participated in some challenge-games that limited the releases, so that's entirely up to you. In this case, I figured that if we're working on Scrabble scores, that should be the highlight, not the total number of books released. (And - to be purely selfish here - I release lots of books and would not want to have to add up the Scrabble scores for all of them, so I imagine I'd only post my "best Scrabble word" releases anyway.)
I'm just thinking of this as a more "Scrabble-y" challenge than a " most books released" challenge, as so many other challenges go for "most books". (October includes several popular challenges as it is, so there will be ample incentive for mass book releases.) In this case, if the number of releases are limited, it opens the possibility of winning to someone who may have fewer releases but with much better scores, which seems more Scrabble-esque to me - but, again, it's your challenge!
