How about a challenge to release childrens books in places where kids will find them, I read that in the UK less and less people are reading with their kids and some children have no access to books at all. My own daughter has always had books and I loved reading to her. Maybe we could help people and children find that joy again.
We could tag each book or add a book mark (so easy to make at home) with
"A book is a gift you can open again and again – Garrison Keillor " (or not if you don't have time LOL)
Anyone up for playing?
I shall start this evening on the way home from work, with some Charlie and Lola
I received children's book from the same source I think :). And I love to join this challenge!
Yes and no. I've been given a whole bunch of children's books by a local charity shop as well. And I was thinking what I could do with them, so this challenge is great!

Hi hi...... I have, and I hand them out to children who are shopping with Mom or I leave them on the childseat of Mom's bicylcle (of which there are enough in our country :-) )
I don't have a picture of nr. 10. I was in a shop to release it on a car you can put money in to make it move, when I saw a mother with a totler (about 1 years old, I guess) and I asked her if she wanted the book. She was so happy, she kept thanking me, telling how nice this was :). But I don't want to post pictures of other people.
Started releasing books for children a few years ago, and even created a 'BookCrossing List' against a website featuring playgrounds in Australia (http://www.bookcrossing.com/forum/33/475931/).
It's my challenge and I keep forgetting too! haha I have just registered 7 books to release at a kids festival next week, not exactly a playground, more a field full of kids!
I always release a lot of childrens books and try to find release spots where they will be found by kids. Living in norway english is not a problem but even if I love the labels for kids in the supply store I decided to make my own labels in norwegian for the children books.

Will post my releases here soon.
Did you make them through the supply store or elsewhere? It would be fun to see them. :)
