Challenge starts 12/01/12 and runs for 12 days, until 12/12/12.

Release 12 books with a the word Twelve, 12, twelfth, XII in title - or picture of the number 12 on the cover... here are links to previous years...

Let's have some fun and try to do themed releases...like on the 12th floor of a building, or at a place that has a 12 in its name or address. Can't believe this is the last year I can host this challenge! Feel free to join in anytime. All are welcome!

to post the reminder so soon. :) Probably wouldn't hurt me to start looking for books to release now, though, instead of waiting until December.

I am excited, for it's the last one!!!

That's what I like. Plenty of time to look for books and put them aside.

Thanks time-traveler.

I've known for years I would need 12 twelve books, and I STILL don't have all of mine yet!!

I have only one book. Guess I better start scouting for eleven more :-)

Don't forget to look for clocks on the cover. There are more out there than you realize!

I'd better go look to see how many 12s I have at the moment. :)

Just double-checking to see if embedded "12"s count, and I see that they do.

I've got dozen, twelve, twelfth, 12, and some clocks.... I'm pretty sure I finally have my 12. Now I just have to get them registered and reserved!

What a great idea. I will keep an eye to find the perfect books. :-)

And I'll copy the link into the German Forum :-)

Thanks time-traveler

tonight I found a suitable book ;-)
http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/11227880

But I will get the last 4 somehow...

Need to start looking for some more that qualify - like going to the used book store is a hardship {grin}

You all have re-energized me!!! Two more months, I better start reading!

So far I've registered:

2 copies of Cheaper by the Dozen
1 copy of The Phantom Tollbooth (for Tock's clock on the cover)

I think I've got the rest of my 12...I just have to get them ready!

Good going, hyphen8! Hard to believe the challenge begins 3 weeks from today...and then there will be no more in this series of release challenges. How time flies!

Do you have a name for this one?

NAME?
Do you have a name for this one?

hyphen8, I've been racking my brain trying to think of a name...The Twelfth (or Twelve) Release Challenge, The Dirty Dozen Release Challenge...do you (or does anyone else) have a suggestion? I was going to call it 12/12/12 Release Challenge but didn't want people to thin it's only for that day. Suggestions welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Den tolvte rytter Ib Michael http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/7507437/
Tolvte = Twelveth

This was all I managed to achieve- For some reason none of my books seem to have clocks on the cover! - or maybe I didn't chech them properly.
I've done no fancy releases, and all had to be indoors at the loacl shopping centre as the snow is really coming down. It is beautiful outside, but very difficult to get anywhere, and not really a good idea for outdoor releasing.

Thank you again for 6 fun challenges! It has been fun.
