Complete Thread

I noticed that the thread titles now start with US / GB etc.

Did some poor volunteer sort and tag them by hand? Or do we now have a clever software that is able to do this automatically?

Very curious :-)

I noted that the letter A does not seem to work - at least the post for Austria etc. for me look as if there was a box in front of the T.

That's not all. On some browsers, they display as flags. Try your smartphone.

Yes indeed! Nice, hm? :-)

Sorry, no. Just boxes display on my Mac.

That's too bad. Apparently your browser does not have support for emojis.

Oh, that's cool. I guess I hadn't tried it on my phone before. Nice.

how these country tags happen.
I suppose it just goes by the title, if it's a city it recognizes it'll put the flag on it.
Makes me curious to try it out a bit. Like putting a popular city name with several possible countries, or some little country to see how extensive its flag list is. ; D

It was done by hand/manually by the BC Support Team.

Moem did mention that in their post...

You can do it yourself if you have the emoji function. If not, it will be done by the BC Support Team.
Or you can use the 'copy' button for the country you need using this website http://flagpedia.net/emoji
Just put a space between what you copy and then your text
ie :
πŸ‡¦πŸ‡« Meet up in Afghanistan
(if you don't have the emoji function, you will see the emoji as 2 small letters "AF" for Afghanistan)

Yes, that's what I see - except for this thread which has got a globe on it!

I'm still not able to see the emojis, they still appear as box/es on my browser.

If you'd like some help with that, you'd have to tell us at the very least what browser you are using. I do wonder why this is the first thing that a brand new member posts about... and what do you mean by 'still'? You just got here.
