a catch
I picked up a book today and left it at the Folk Museum. I planned to do a release note now, but it was already catched!

Certainly a basic JE :D
Yes, might be a person of few words, but he/she registered as a member, so maybe we will hear some more later:-)

We can always hope! I became a BX'er, after finding a book at a hardware store. 'Told my Mom about it, and she joined. 'Told my sweetheart about it, and he joined up too!

I guess this was released at the release walk.

LOL....I just posted same thing....didn't see your Forum post 'til just now.

I actually released this one on my way to the history museum after the walk instead of in the sculpture park, so that it wouldn't end up in the bin. The finder has joined, and sounds enthusiastic! http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/14301067

"One of the books I collected at Vigeland Park after the release walk on 23 April 2017. Somebody told us that we were not allowed to release books inside the park and that our books will be thrown away. " ( http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/14343595 )

Thankfully it was moved though!

Wonder why wild releases of books wasn't allowed in the Vigeland park??

This newbie wrote about the security removing books from the park too.

I hope that most of the books were rescued before they ended up in the bin!

I certainly didn't expect the security to throw away the books! And I wouldn't have left any books there if I knew!

I had a couple of quick catches. Plus, I never saw a single security person but was pleased to see our books disappeared quickly. Fingers crossed.

It was one of the books I posted about above. I wonder why they never did another journal entry, or maybe it has still to come. If they don't do one, how can I add a note to say where it is travelling. Do I just edit my release note?

One of the extra books my host in Oslo gave me got caught - and made it all the way to Moscow! http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/14513155

One of the books released at the convenction, released at Smart Hotel, and found by someone there (who hopefully will join BookCrossing).

Great idea - my first convention-catch!

Found at a local shop at Majorstua by a new member: http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/14306269

I picked this book up off the book table and released it in Bergen. It has now been read and released in Spain.

Looks like it is returning to Asturias, Spain with its finder!

I left a book at the bookshelf in Anker Apartment and it was now seen by another German bookcrosser on the ship MS Lofoten:

The book travelled to Göteborg.

Finnisches Blut was released in Oslo central station, found by a backpacker and will be released in Sweden....

I released at the convention, then the book was re-released in Bergen, where a U.S. Navy sailor picked it up and brought it all the way back to his mom back in the U.S.

The little book has crossed the Atlantic twice! And who knows if it has travelled more in between.

I got to think of all the fun we had during the convention in Oslo when I just heard from one of the convention books:

Love the journal entry:-)

Happy Easter everyone! Seeing you soon in Bordeaux:-)

Great to hear from another book.

One from the Oslo release walk has checked in: http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/14511081/

I picked this book up off the book table and re-released it in Stavanger, Norway. Finally about a year later the book was journalled. It was then dropped off in Washington, USA...although I'm not sure it will find a Norwegian reader there, but one never knows.

Of the four Norwegian books I took from the book table to release elsewhere in Norway, two have been journalled. The other caught book was released in Spain, which might also present a language problem.
