Hi All, I know I love looking back at pictures of previous conventions, and seeing pictures of the various sightseeing events. Also people who cannot attend the event, love seeing the photos. To that end I have set up a FLICKR group for the Convention

Bookcrossing 2012. Anniversary Convention in Dublin

Please feel free to post your pictures here for everyone to see

I just uploaded a goodie bag picture....

I just uploaded a goodie bag picture....

I can see photos uploaded by ghanescha, lyttletonwitch and marilina85 but nothing has your name attached, ApoloniaX, and it's still the same 67 as I looked at this morning! Don't know why! Perhaps it's me ....

No, it isn't you... it's me... I logged out and checked again... none of my photos to be seen. Checked the setting of one of my pics - "anyone can see this photo" - no idea what's wrong, but I'll look into it soon... just not now, you know there's that fabulous convention going on, have to pack up the rest of the books and move over to the venue... :-)

I can now see your goodie bag photo but not others, so that might be a clue as to what's different about them!
Have a great Convention!

Thanks, gizmo! I love people-spotting :-) The Ballycumber trip looks like great fun!

I uploaded my Ballycumber photos ...

embarrassing photos and photos of shenanigans! Where is newk? He would be a good subject for those. haha.

nice thanks :-)

I released 4 books there as well, a really nice golden ball!

;-))

Oh...I wish I could fly right back there and fill every single space! I just moved and books are burying us here!

I just uploaded a few more pictures...
(while we're sitting in the hotel bar - having a great time)

..pictures ?

..pictures ?

I just checked: not signed in: 212 pics - after signing in: 293 pics
It has to do with the owner settings - "anyone can see this photo" must be checked of course, and I have the impression that it must also be publicly searchable

I've started uploading my photos to the Convention Flickr group, but it is taking time.

They are already here on my own account, you can also see Bookcrossers from other meetings here. Move down to the end of this group to see some 2012 bcers. Sorry to the people I missed but didn't wasnt to make a nuisance of myself!

Videos up!
I just uploaded a couple of videos of the Friday night fun to the Flickr group.

...but I've put a few photos up on BX'ing's Facebook page. Mostly sights of Dublin, could not get enough of those skies....especially at Clonmacnoise. That was a great day - and such a monumental visit to Ballycumber! There's a short video of our balladeer in the pub in that FB group - can anyone tell me the name of that ballad he was singing?

Did it get put on youtube?

oh, that is a good question!

I've posted a whole day's worth of photos, with explanatory captions, at my 101 in 1001 blog: http://stapsdoes101things.dreamwidth.org/49959.html. Might give you a bit of a flavour of what you missed. Advise caution, though: the first photo is a (perfectly decent, but still slightly scary) shot of me having just woken up.

Good work :)

from the dancing, eating, flash mob ... plus one video from the pub with a bit of traditional music

I hope you like them :-)
