Hello all!
I am so sorry for the delay of Round 11 of the VBB – Women in Fiction. Covid-19 has kept my mind on other things and I admit that I have been a bit distant from Bookcrossing activities. But, lets get down to what’s important and start the sign ups :-)))

The rules are simple:
- All books put in the bookbox must have been written by women;
- They have to be works of fiction;
- The VBB is international, so you have to be ready to ship anywhere;
- After selecting a book, send a PM to the owner with your address and post here.

Anyone who would like to sign up, please do :-)

Participants:
- Bookworm-lady
- yorkshire-lass
- leah152
-penelopewanders
- Diane-Fraser
- mcsar
- sedna5213
-Ythan
- Vilda

I'm afraid Australia is not accepting mail from Spain since the pandemic started. I can save the book for you; I ask each time I go to the post office, but the situation doesn't seem to change...

My choices
I'm taking out:

“Persuasion” - Jane Austen https://www.bookcrossing.com/---/14397352/

“To The Lighthouse” - Virginia Woolf https://www.bookcrossing.com/---/16050409/

I'm Adding In:

"The Romantics" by Galt Niederhoffer https://www.bookcrossing.com/---/13831377/

"The Magician's Assistant" by Ann Patchett https://www.bookcrossing.com/---/6424293/

Might be the end of Jan/beginning of Feb before they can travel. A) I haven't read them, B) Currently in Level 4 restrictions and going to the post office to post books wouldn't be considered an essential activity, I'll wait till we (Scotland) goes down to Level 3 and C) Many countries were not accepting mail from the UK before Christmas and not sure when these restrictions will be lifted.

Thanks for organising this, Meg72.

Thanks, Icila, for choosing this. I won‘t be able to send it until at least mid February as I am in the middle of moving houses - one more month of work so I am in a little flat for the rest of my time here and most of my things have moved on without me. It will be sent though...
Hope you are well - bonne année et meilleurs voeux!
