New Audiobook VBB (BigJohnLefty's box transformed)

From the previous discussion thread for this BJL box it's clear that quite a few BookCrossers have strong preferences for either the physical box or the virtual box. Luckily, we can have both! Devon612 is hosting the physical box, and since booklady 331 is retiring her VBB after ten years, I'm now switching BigJohn's physical box to the VBB format Here are the standard rules:

1. CD ONLY.
2. Replace the books you take out. If you take out 2 books, replace them with 2 books
3. Keep the list no longer than 2 weeks, since you are only replacing books
4. Post in this thread when you make your selections. Share what you picked and what you put in.
5. Send me a PM of your choices.
6. PM the owners of the books with your address so he/she may send the book to you.
7. You may switch out one of your books at anytime, but you must let me know so I can remove it from the list.

This will be open to Canada and the USA. If you prefer not to send your books across the border (slightly higher cost, plus the extra step of filling in the customs form), just tell me and I'll block your books when the list goes to the other country.

Rebekkila has already signed up by PM, so she'll be first. You're welcome to do that or post in this thread. When you sign up, you can specify whether you'd like to go earlier or later, or anything else that would help me plan the list. My goal will be to start this off at the beginning of October, but of course with a VBB it's very easy to add names at any time.

I look forward to seeing many interesting books finding new listeners!

THANK YOU for all of your hard work on this transformation, JudySlump612!!! ; ) I'd like to join in, as I have a couple of titles from BigJohnLefty's last AudioBookbox, ironically my first ever...that I'd like to add in to start off in his memory. ; ) I won't be able to post Internationally at this time, although I'm hoping that changes again in the future, as it really cramps my Bookcrossing and RABCKing style!!! : D

Looks like this is the last remaining Audiobook I have from BigJohnLefty's last AudioBookbox to add in to your new VBB, JudySlump612. ; )

The Preservationist by David Maine
http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/12411537

The other two are travelling in erishkigal's WILD THINGs Bookbox. ; ) http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/535916

I'll be making a trip to the Library sometime during the next week, so I will check their Friends of the Library Sale to see what might be available there for a couple more titles to add in. ; )

With so many doctor appointments and medical tests taking up perfectly good pleasure reading/listening time for me, I could use a good laugh...or two. ; ) With that in mind...I have chosen this book by a "new to me" author. I think it may just fit the bill, especially since it is a group of Short Stories and Anthologies. ; )

The Day I Ate Whatever I Wanted, Elizabeth Berg (JudySlump612)
Unabridged; 7 CD's; Performed by author
http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/6055042

I am "officially" ; ) adding in this title that was originally registered by imawinn2:

The Preservationist by David Maine (currently with BOOKWORMINUSALL)
http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/12411537

This is an Unabridged edition that contains 6 CDs.

I wasn't able to make a Journal Entry in the link JudySlump612 provided in the email either indygo88, so perhaps not. Unless perhaps a Release Note needs to be made first? I am also not able to make a Journal Entry in the AudioBook I just received from the VBB, but it has arrived safely...THANK YOU JudySlump612!!! ; )

I think I figured out the problem with the Elizabeth Berg book. I never caught it from the bookbox, since all I wanted to do was send it to you, bookworminusall. But that meant I couldn't release it. I thought setting its status to 'travelling' would fix that, but we now know otherwise. I've gone back and caught it, then released it, so you (I hope) should be able to journal the catch as we usually do. Try it and let me know. If that works, there are a couple more I have to fix for the same problem. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

As far as the journal which originally went with BigJohnLefty's box, I suppose something like the same thing happened. But there's no real need for a journal with a VBB, so let's just keep on posting in the forum thread, as you and indygo88 have already figured out. I'll change the rules to show that's what we're doing.

Works like a charm!!! ; D
Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
You are very welcome!!! : D I decided to post here, instead of PMing, in hopes that the information would be helpful to others who may be having the same difficulty, or that someone may know why we were having the difficulty. Thanks for your quick response and resolve. ; ) You should have smooth sailing from here on out. ; )

My apologies. I have not been able to get to the Post Office this week to get "The Preservationist" by David Maine mailed off, as I had originally planned. Hoping to shake whatever bug has been added to my health challenges during the past few days in the next few days, so that I can try again next week, since there is no mail service for Veteran's Day tomorrow. Thank you for your patience Moody-Blue. ; )

Am getting over an acute case of bronchitis and have still not gotten to the Post Office to send this off, JudySlump612, but I have not forgotten. I will it send via Priority Mail next week, so as to get it to Moody-Blue sooner than Media Mail.
