After 8 years of hosting this General Literature VBB, I am ready to hand over the hosting duties to another host and am looking for someone who would like to take the reins. If you are interested in being the host going forward after this current round please pm me and let me know. Thanks!
Oh, you have been a wonderful and patient host. I wish I could take over for you but the real world is interfering with my book life, and I am having a hard time juggling. Thank you for all you've put into this, though.
As many of you know I was looking for someone to take over both this VBB and the Mystery VBB I host and had a couple offers of folks who may be willing to do the hosting, but after much consideration I have decided to continue to host both VBB's as I do enjoy it and I know many others do as well.
I have SO SO many books here to share with others what I have decided to do for the next rounds is put many, many more of my books into the VBB's so as to give these books a new possible home and move them on so as to lighten my load (so to speak).
It will of course make the majority of the books on the list mine but that is fine with me and hopefully it will allow you all to find some books you might want to read.
I appreciate the many pm's received from people concerned about me and my path forward with Bookcrossing as while I admit it has been seriously disappointing lately to me(and others) overall I do enjoy it and hope for some positive changes in the future.
I hope you all will continue on with me in this VBB journey and Happy Bookcrossing!
Thank you, bookstogive for continuing to serve as our host. This is a wonderful VBB and you are an amazing host. I can imagine how much work goes into this to keep it going and that is much appreciated.
