I am starting a VBB for Mystery/Thriller/Suspense Books. This box will start with 40 books!

Here are the rules to play by:

If you would like to join, just post here and where you are and you will be added to the list. This is an US/Canada Bookbox so you need to be prepared to ship to Canada unless your books are marked US only.

When it is your turn I will pm the list of available books to you. You will have 5 days to make your selections from the list. You then post on this forum post which books you are taking and which ones you are adding to the "box". Also pm me with the info as well, in my pm please include links or BCID#'s for the books you are adding. You may take as many books as you like and replace with the same number. You may include more books if you like.

You then pm the person holding the books you have selected and they send those books to you. If you are shipping within the country please ship within 2 weeks, if shipping outside your country within 30 days.

The list then gets updated with the changes and moves to the next person who takes their turn.

ALL BOOKS must be registered at BookCrossing and a link provided to the journal entry.

*************************************NEW INFO**********************************************
Players who do not respond in the allotted time will be bumped to the bottom of the list. After 2 times with no response they will be skipped unless they contact me about getting back in the rotation and their books removed from the list. This does not apply to people who ask me to skip them :)

The Sisterhood (smd427) owed to Shroffland (REPLACED)
Dearly Devoted Dexter (solittletime) owed to minesayn (REPLACED)

> Moonlight Becomes You (iwillrejoice) owed to Meekachu07

I emailed Meekachu07 some time ago (in September - I can look up the PM if you want), & he/she said that the book was received. But they've never journaled it. Also, Delivery Conf. says it was delivered on 9/12/11. I can get you that tracking number, if you like.

Edited to add:
OK, here's the tracking number: 9101150134711901038977. (I knew there was a reason why I keep these things! :-) )

Okay, I checked and think I figured out what happened with Moonlight Becomes You...I think it got mixed up with a box of books I received from a member on PBS....these books are stored somewhere else, but I will get to them this week and make sure that gets journaled..

Round 4 - The Hidden Man - I mailed to solittletime and was received and journalled by her

Round 5 - I have 3 books to send out this week and then all of my obligations are up to date :)

I am looking forward to round 6 in the new year and hope that the books stilled owed to me trickle in - no rush though cause I have plenty to read.

Thank you so much, bookstogive! This has been a wonderful VBB!

Round 3:

Murder at Markham(Rhonder) owed to 4thEstate

I'm confused ... I show this book as being sent to loveamystery (and received) as requested from Shrofflands/LoriPed's Mysterious Mysteries VBB.

I feel terrible thinking that I screwed up and haven't sent out a book I was supposed to. But I keep track on my profile of what books I've contributed to what box, plus I should have received a pm from 4thEstate with the mailing address and then I would have known the book was double offered.

Did we send you seed books? Because I didn't participate in round 2, and I was up after 4thEstate in round 3 so I'm just wondering. Trying to figure out what happened - I feel so bad!!

Thanks so much for tracking this, bookstogive!

Enter a Murderer (Shroffland) owed to 4thEstate

This one slipped through the cracks. I have the book, and 4thEstate's address from a previous exchange, so I'll get it out this week.

The Sisterhood (smd427) owed to Shroffland
Good Blood (solittletime) owed to Shroffland

I haven't received either of these, and will P)M smd427 and solittletime my address again.

The Oath by John Lescroart [Shroffland]owed to bookstogive

This will go out this week as well.

I have received:
Born in Death (Meekachu07) owed to Tribefan

All these have now been mailed:
Who's Kitten Who (Tribefan) owed to SkylerDragon
Nursery Crimes (Tribefan)owed to Cavailer10
Death in the Cards (Tribefan) owed to FeistyPom2Love

Thank you! What a relief for me :-)

It's great though that you posted this list so that some of the earlier round books might get cleared up/sent as required!

Enter a Murderer to 4thEstate, and The Oath to bookstogive's.

I believe that brings me up to date.

Happy Holidays, everyone! See you all in the New Year!

From Round 2, I requested this book from solittletime, but didn't receive it:

Red Blooded Murder: An Izzy Mcneil Novel (solittletime)

I'm pretty sure I have sent all the books out, if not please let me know.

After an incredibly busy Fall (which included making props for The Wizard of OZ at home),
I am finally cleaning, sorting, and trying to get all the "stuff" out of here....
And I found an envelope with Mosley's "A Little Yellow Dog" and Rendell's "The Water's Lovely." But I did not address the envelope before it was buried and out-of-sight, out-of-mind. So please, to whom do I owe profuse apologies and need to mail them to asap?????
