Complete Thread
Once again I'm going to RABCK one book a month for 2019.

I will pick a book from my availables each month and put it on this thread, anyone who wants it can say, and then will draw a name out the hat at the end of the month (actually I use random.org).

If anyone else fancies doing the same, feel fee to also use this thread - but this is a RABCK, there is no obligation to offer a book if you wish to enter for one. :)

Speaking only for myself, and not for others offering on this thread: I will post internationally and offers are open to any genuine bookcrosser.

Please make offers with a clear title e.g. including your name, the month and the title, and please enter for books by responding to the thread keeping the title the same so that it's clear which book you want. Thanks!

A Whole Life by Robert Seethaler
https://www.bookcrossing.com/---/15182750/

Shortlisted for the 2017 Man Booker International Prize. This is the story of a man's relationship with his landscape, including how that landscape is changed by the coming of the modern world. Through events both trivial and dramatic, Andreas Egger's life story is told in a way that is both calm and compassionate.

First of all thank you greenbadger for hosting this thread again. It's one of my favorites :-)

Ha, that is a nice message to wake up to :-)
You have a PM.

I read this book years ago, when I studied African literature, thus I do not really remember much. Just got my hands on a second copy, and thought somebody else might want to read Nigerian literature. The Joys of Motherhood is written by Buchi Emecheta, born in Nigeria, but moved to Britain fairly young.

Continuing my theme of African authors, or can I call it a theme when it is only the second month when I offer African literature?

https://www.bookcrossing.com/---/14455253

In my opinion we do not read enough poetry, to compensate that my second offer this month is a small compilation of poems.

Surprise, surprise, the book goes to Tarna. (I already have tour address, so it's in the post today!)

At the age of five, Aborigine Donna Meehan was taken away from her natural family and sent to a foster family in Newcastle. In It is No Secret, Donna reflects back on her childhood memories of living in the bush with her brothers and her removal to the city, becoming an only child in a white family. She recalls her struggle with her identity - remembering traditions and customs of her old life in the outback and the adjustments she has had to make in strange city.
