The BookCrossing craze spreads to Norwich (UK)
by jackshome
February 2, 2004
After joining the website in 2003, I was hooked! A year later and Norwich has become a BookCrossing hotspot, and I have enjoyed watching it grow. The community of BookCrossers here, both online and face-to-face, is fantastic!

Not only are East Anglicans releasing books in and around Norwich, but they are also visiting the five official BookCrossing zones. We've had two meetups in Norwich to date, and another one is planned for February. Another project in the pipeline will eventually cover the Eastern Counties (watch my bookshelf for more info).

The media has played its part as well, with articles appearing in two of the local rags and radio spots on two local stations, one of which was BBC Radio Norfolk. This is only the beginning — who knows where this may lead!
