I have one. For the most part I don't like the way foods turn out. I've used it to make jambalaya, which is really good, and when I make pulled pork, also very good. Other than that I rarely use it.

Your recipe for balsamic roasted mushrooms sounds awesome. I printed it up and will give it a try. Thank you.

That sounds wonderful! We FaceTimed with friends in Wisconsin who we haven’t seen in about 4 years. Very enjoyable.

I made a tomato and pasta meal with a little bacon, onion, green pepper, and several different seasonings. I used penne pasta and sprinkled fresh Parmesan cheese on top. We had it with left over ham and Brussel sprouts.

Here in Florida I’ve never seen it. In Wisconsin I did see it. As I said, the lamb I’ve had here in the states doesn’t hold a candle to Australian lamb, which was always plentiful. I really don’t go out of my way to look…

Disney+ is streaming the musical Hamilton. It started streaming last night at midnight. I wasn’t going to stay up until then to watch, but will watch it along with my daughter and granddaughter. We bought tickets to see…

Yes, here in the states we only see it around Easter, and I have to say it is nothing like you have in Australia. It was so delicious there. Here it is barely edible after tasting Australian lamb.

This isn’t exactly free, but all we have to pay for is gas. We take day trips to the country or along the ocean. We only stop if we find a park, beach or trail where we can take a walk if no one is around. We’ve seen a…

I’ve had lobster fresh off the boats in Maine. We had friends who lived in Portland, who always served lobster when we came to visit. The only stipulation was that each person drop their own lobster into the boiling pot.…

I love Dead to Me! It holds your attention right from the start. We only watch it once a week, so I can’t wait for the next episode.

We do have rock lobsters here in Florida. The only edible part is the tail. I’ve never eaten any because in my opinion nothing beats the lobster from the northeast.

Cottage pie is about the same as shepherds pie, but cottage pie is made with ground beef and shepherds pie is made with lamb stew. I prefer shepherds pie if I can find lamb. The fresh lobster does get shipped from Maine…

Growing up my mother cut our hair. I didn’t go to a salon until I was about 12. I hated the haircut. All my long hair was gone. Rarely do I like haircuts, and I hate even more when they style it. I always go home and res…

I miss going out to restaurants occasionally. We did discover a little shop that makes lobster rolls with fresh lobster from Maine. You can phone in your order and it’s all ready for you to pick up when you get there. …

I don’t collect stamps, but I recently inherited a large collection that belonged to my mother. My brother had the very big book on s shelf in a closet all this time. He asked me if I wanted it. I have very few of my par…

I’m facing a third heart procedure coming up in a month or so. The exact date hasn’t been determined yet. Hopefully I’ll feel much better after, but the waiting is the hardest part.

Booked my first stay at an Airbnb for September. We’re taking a trip to our hometown for two weeks. The place I booked is an Apartment in a residential area close to where we wanted to be. It has a living room, bedroom, …

We’re planning a trip to New England in Sept. or Oct. We’ll be spending a few days in Portland visiting friends. We’ve been there twice before, but I never saw the giant lobster. We’ll have to make a point of seeing it,…

We had a great time, and the Titanic Museum was a huge success. I would love to see the spot where the victims are buried in Canada. I’ve read about that and maybe one day we’ll take a trip there.

[[Sounds lovely! The people who died from the Titanic disaster are buried in Halifax, and the local Maritime Museum has a Titanic exhibit. It's very sad, they couldn't identify all the bodies so many are in unnamed grav…

We’ll be staying in a log cabin in Tennessee with our family. There will be 8 of us all together. We’ll be going to Pigeon Forge to see the Titanic Museum, which my 6 year old grandson is dying to see. He’s quite the ex…
