Looking Ahead to 2010 UnCons and the next Convention: BCinDC 2011

October is a big BookCrossing month with the UK Unconvention in Swindon October 1-3, the Australian/NZ Unconvention 2010 in Sydney and ruhrCrossing2010, in Essen, Germany both on October 22-24.
In the meantime, plans keep brewing and events keep happening in the DC area, where the Anniversary Convention celebrating BookCrossing's
10th Anniversary will be in April 2010. You can keep tabs on all the happenings leading up to the convention and BCinDc's activities over at their
website. Registration is now open, so why not go ahead and catch the Early Bird rates? There was a wonderful silent auction this summer held by the group, as well. With the help of people who donated items and generous
people who bid, BCinDC was able to auction off 8 different boxes to raise money for the 2011 Convention. The more they raise, the lower registration costs will be…and the more they can do at the convention! There are a few other auction boxes planned for,
perhaps, late October. So
