Recent Book Activity

I am an English teacher at Bishop Amat High School (beginning my 21st year) by day and the school librarian by night. It's a great combination because I love to read! I try to instill that enthusiasm in my students. I discovered BookCrossing.com while I was convalescing from cancer of the throat. It provided me with a much-needed outlet. I have been a volunteer at USC/Norris Cancer Hospital (where I was treated) for three years. I am an aspiring author myself with two books in the works: one based on my experiences working through illness titled FINDING MY VOICE and the second is a novel patterned after Craig Thomas and Clive Cussler's works titled A DARK & SINISTER BUSINESS.
