Recent Book Activity

I'm one of BookCrossing's "old-timers" and have been more active than I am now. Part of it is that I'm a full-time RVer now, so I have limited space for books. I seldom buy books at all, since they come to me serendipitously. :)

Books I cross don't necessarily resemble my own tastes. I collect Very Short Introductions from OUP. I pick up books according to what I think others might like or what mood I'm in. And thus, I don't trade because there's no room for storage!

I am a freelance commercial writer, a royal family columnist, blogger, mighty huntress of historical markers and have written two books. You'll find lots of copies of A Litte Twist of Texas, which chronicles my solo ride to the 2005 Fort Worth BookCrossing convention, on this site. People do seem to like it.

I'm married with two cats, no kids, an RV called Harvey and a 1400cc motorcycle, Beastie.
