What a fun idea! I'm hoping to meet other bookworms, especially folks near my own age in Pittsburgh. I love reading passionately and have since I was six. Sometimes it seems to me that reading is the only attribute that really separates us from the apes. I read four or five books a week on a range of constantly-changing topics. Mysteries, science fiction, and non-fiction are my favorites. Right now I'm on kick about paper-making, book-binding, and rare book-hunting and am soaking up everything on those topics I can find. What do I do with all this esoteric knowledge? Not much, but I'm thrilled to know that it exists and that I can learn forever. I thank my lucky stars for the fabulous Carnegie Library system, my second home. Write if you get out of the house once in a while--maybe we could talk.
