Why FFA Articles and Link Park Are a Bad Idea
Before search-engines got intelligent, a site's site rating was according to keyword match-ups. When webmasters stock-piled their sites with key-words, the incorrect sites were getting too much attention. Google decided to focus on a site's 'popularity' rather. The number of incoming links became the focus of PR standards. The idea behind this technique was that if lots of websites connect to another site, that site could contain valuable content.

But again, webmasters got sly. With this development, we started to begin to see the development of 'Link Farms' and 'Free-for-All' (FFA) websites. These pages were essentially a gigantic collection of (often-times) ineffective links. Typically, the websites were not grouped or descriptive. So that you can make their site appear popular they became a location for webmasters to dump their links.

This tactic worked for quite a while, but soon se's caught on. Browse here at the link sponsors to research when to see about it. 'Link Farms' and FFA internet sites served no purpose to users. Since Google prides it-self on catering to internet users (and PERHAPS not designers), an answer must be created. 'Link Farms' were cluttering up the web and making it more difficult for users to discover useful resources on the web.

Google soon began to rate the quality of the links that established a site's 'link place.' 'Link Farms' and FFA sites became classified as junk, and hence brought no importance to some site's link popularity.

To-day, submitting to some 'Link Farm' or FFA site can be bad for your website's name. Google requires a strong position against such link pages. At most readily useful, the 'Link Farm' can get down your position and allow it to be harder for that valuable internet sites to work in your favor. At worst, your site is going to be BARRED completely for using junk sites to try and generate traffic. This is a very real possibility.

'Link Farms' and FFA internet sites present almost no importance. Although it might appear tempting, users won't get quality or appropriate links in the distribution. Plus, who wants to see their link among 'crap' websites for adult activity, dating sites, and casinos? Distributing to 'Link Farms' doesn't subscribe to your standing and is just not worth the risk.

Instead, spend your own time submitting to credible websites and trading links with other relevant sites. If you are interested in geology, you will maybe wish to explore about linkemperor. The process could be time-consuming, but it could be the only way to generate safe, site-specific traffic.
