I am the caretaker of the Boston Hostel OBCZ. Feel free to contact me if you want to send some books for release there.
PLEASE NOTE: I am unable to participate in Bookrings and Bookrays at this time.
MY LONGEST TIME BETWEEN RELEASE AND JOURNAL ENTRY TO DATE:
My Dream of You by Nuala O'Faolain - 4 years 3 months 15 days
About two months before I joined bookcrossing, I found a book in the Park Street T station in Boston on my morning commute to work. I picked it up and looked at it, but decided not to take it because it was a Grisham novel and I'm not partial to his writing.
Besides, I had so many unread books next to my bed on the nightstand waiting to be read, and these are books I wanted to read.
A couple months later I read an article that talked about bookcrossing on boston.com that had appeared in the Boston Globe. That was all it took! I cleaned off my book shelves and released a bunch of books! Just hope I find another one in the wild again. I
wish I had gotten the BCID number for the book I saw, but left at the T station. Now I know better!
Anyway, I'm always open to trades for anything I have marked "available" on my book shelf, or willing to send it to someone if they cover postage. Books marked "reserved" are being saved for a trade, swap, bookring, or bookbox and as such are already promised
elsewhere. Please do not ask me for any books marked "permanent collection."
Books on my shelf do not necessarily reflect my taste in reading. Many books are purchased by me for wild release, challenges, RABCKs or book swaps.

Your Result: The Inland North
You may think you speak "Standard English straight out of the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" Chances are you call carbonated drinks "pop." |
