Recent Book Activity

Since childhood, I have always loved to read. I went to a small elementary school during the first and second grade and therefore the library was small - I would check out the same books over and over (the whole Wizard of Oz series - yes, Dorothy actually does return to OZ) and remember just sitting on the couch and reading for hours. My 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Hoffman, and my mom reading to us when we were very young, planted the seeds of my love for reading. I am just really glad I found this website! It has expanded my reading genre greatly and has given me lots of ideas for great books to read. Books that I would not normally read. I love to know what people are reading and what they think of their books. I also love animals (especially cats), travel, playing tennis, seeing movies, knitting, gardening (although my plants start screaming in terror when they see me coming....lol), cooking and just generally enjoying life!

I will trade books with other bookcrossers from my available list or if you see something and would like to read it, let me know (doesn't necessarily have to be a trade). I would prefer sending books to US readers only, due to postage costs.
