I am Megan. I am a 23 year old military spouse living with the love of my life and our three adorable dogs in Glendale, Arizona.
I was an avid reader growing up and through the first year of my marriage. One year and one week in to our marriage, I was in a car accident that changed my life. In the car accident, I sustained a brain injury that reduced my cognitive abilities to that of an elementary to middle school student. Working with my neurologist and an amazing team of doctors and cognitive speech therapists, I learned how to communicate, focus, and remember again. Sadly, the last thing that has come back to me is reading. Even though I love reading, my brain just can't focus anymore, so I have been working on it a little bit at a time. I joined Goodreads to work on reading again and to share my progress and set backs with the community and I am now on Book Crossing to bless others with the books that are helping me on my journey to regain something I thought I lost forever.
