It is not our abilities that show what we truly are. It is our choices.

- Professor Dumbledore to Harry in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets," by J.K. Rowling

I enjoy reading but don't do it as much as I'd like. Does that make sense? I'm an American living in The Netherlands. It's not always easy to find the kind of books I like to read. I'm an avid historical romance novel reader. My all-time favorite author is Johanna Lindsey. I think I've read all of her books except perhaps her most recent ones. I'm lucky every once in a while to find one of her books here.

I don't mind mailing over-seas, but I don't send them priority mail, so it can take 4 weeks to arrive.

Bookrays or Bookrings that I'm sponsoring:

Tulip Fever by Deborah Moggach.
Enemy Women by Paulette Jiles.
Message in a Bottle by Nicholas Sparks.

So far in 2004, I've read:

Girl in Hyacinth Blue(library copy)
On the Beach(library copy)
Timeline by Michael Crichton
