ABOUT ME

Okay, I guess this is the section where you are supposed to talk about yourself. Am I the only person in the world who feels weird writing about himself or herself? Oh well, I will try.

My name, as seen above, is Summer and I am 31 years old. I grew up in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia and moved here to Clifton Forge, Virginia when I got married in 1997 to my husband, Daniel. We have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Brianna in July 1998 and Mackenzie in September 2002. I was a stay-at-home Mommy for almost 8 years, but now I am a full time Nursing school student.

Since this is “BOOK”-crossing, I will touch on my book obsession. I used to be a strictly “historical romance”-kinda girl and while I still love a good afternoon lost in another time, my tastes have expanded some. I love a good mystery/thriller now, and there isn’t anything better than a good modern-day romance. A little humor never hurts every now and then either. I don’t really like nonfiction and I am afraid “Danielle Steel”-like books aren’t quite my thing either. I am trying really hard to widen my horizons, though, so if you know of a book or author you are just dying to share, private message or email me below and let me know!

I am very sorry but due to the complication and cost of shipping overseas, I am not able to mail anywhere other than in the US and Canada right now. I am very sorry about this, as I have enjoyed the few friends that I have made in other lands!
