Recent Book Activity

25th August 2010: I've just moved to Calgary, and we're loving it here, but definitely needing more time to settle in. I've left most of my books behind in Malaysia, and I'll miss them, but the great thing is that the libraries here are great!! =) I won't be buying too many books until we settle in, just gonna use the library for now.

7th April 2010: I'm preparing for a move in 3-5 months, and I need to clear my bookshelves. I'm releasing some books a little at a time whenever I can. There are a lot of books on my TBR that I really still want to read but I realize I don't have the time and that I really can't take most of the books with me, so... =(

I would prefer to send them to BCers who might appreciate the books better, but I can't afford postage for so many books, so I'm going to wild release most of them. Hopefully the books will find a new and better home. =)

Any mail and RABCKs will be very appreciated and can still be sent to my current address on RABCK.com. The address belongs to my parents so any mail will still be forwarded on to me after I move. I will update my new address as soon as I move though, and I will update here on my profile as well. Thanks so much!



26th February 2008: I haven't been active on BC lately, there's been a lot of developments and changes in my life. Things are still pretty hectic but settling down, so hopefully I can start being active again on BC.

Just a note though, that most of my 'available' books may not be available anymore. I gave away some boxes of books last year when I moved, and I didn't have time to make release notes or update the status for each book. So if you're interested in a trade for any of the books, please keep in mind that I may not have them anymore. Do ask though, and if I still have them, I'd happily trade with you. =)

I got this from Gizmopuddy, who got this from Sugarkane(now florafloraflora) and Scism. Great way of rating books, I think I might have to 're-rate' some of the books I read!

10: Excellent, at the top of its category. This book has impacted me deeply, challenged me profoundly, or has simply been a pure delight to read.
9: Great book - just a nitpick stands between it and a 10
8: Good, solid book that I would recommend to others.
7: Good book, but it didn't grab me in a big way.
6: Decent, but not my type of book.
5: Maybe somebody else would like this. I didn't.
4: Only OK. Barely worth reading. The line between taking it and leaving it is very thin.
2-3: Has major problems. I don't recommend it.
1: It's hard to imagine anyone liking this book.
