Recent Book Activity

The kitty pictured is my "Duncan"---a rescue from the SPCA. After losing Spazzy I needed a new furry baby---and he's it!

I buy books @ flea markets and Goodwill for absolutely low prices. They're not always in new or great shape, but they are loved on and readable and I hope someone else will enjoy them.

I'm involved with many release Challenges throughout the year so most of my books are listed as RESERVED. If you see something on my shelf that you'd like to have, PM me and if the book is not for a specific Challenge, or even if it is, (and I can find it!), I'd be happy to work something out with you.

I love the "bookish quote" that I saw posted here at BC---"If I couldn't read, I couldn't live," by Thelma Green. Thanks to my Mom, I love to read, and if I don't have a book waiting for my attention I don't feel settled. As of today, 05/18/11, I have around 70+ books on Mount TBR, so I'm feeling very settled!!! I don't know when I'll get them all read, but I'm trying to get through the pile!
