Recent Book Activity

I am John Barnes the science fiction writer. I am not John Barnes the footballer, John Barnes the Tory MP, John Barnes the authority on ADA programming, John Barnes the wildlife filmmaker, or John Barnes that guy that Mom insisted was my father (he was there all the time I was growing up so I guess I'll have to take her word for it). I'm also not any of several Johns Barnes who are aliases of people wanted by the police. Really I'm not. I am also John Barnes the one-time college professor (I taught theatre and communications).

I joined this because my closet is full of books, my current day job is as a traveling salesman (farmers daughters are welcome to apply), and it occurred to me that I can gradually clear out my closet by releasing a book now and then.
