I'm a native New Yorker (more appropriately, I'm a Long Islander), currently living in Maryland. My wonderful husband Bryan and I were married on 10/31/2002 (yes, Halloween) at Walt Disney World's Polynesian Resort on Sunset Pointe.

My hobbies along with reading include: beadweaving, flamenco dancing, figure sculpting, cooking, knitting, listening to music, traveling, and a growing list of outdoor activities (bicycling, windsurfing, walking, hiking, fishing, camping, etc...).

I've always been a voracious reader and combine that with listening to stories on my iPod. I especially like books on art, travel, humor, cooking, horror, thrillers, fantasy, and cozy style mysteries though I'm open to all sorts of good books.

I found Bookcrossing.com through their ad in Mental Floss magazine. From the minute I read through the site I was hooked. Except for a few genres and seriously fantastic books, I can't read a book twice so I want to let others who enjoy reading as much as I do enjoy my books. I hope to discover new books and make wonderful friends from around the world.
