I remember joining BookCrossing when I graduated from college and still had a lot of time to read and mingle with fellow bookworms like you. Now, about three years later here I am again to ask for help.
I recently lost my personal library due to the disaster that hit my hometown. :( I'm from the Philippines and the recent tropical storm Ketsana (local name: Ondoy) left the metro flooded. News reported that what we went through was worse than the Katrina disaster
in the US.
I wasn't able to save any of my books except for the ones I have with me at the office. =( I'm excited to re-build my personal library again, even if it means taking a lot of time again and starting from nothing, but I don't mind. Reading has always been a
wonderful experience and books have always been a wonderful possession to gain.
I hope you guys could help out. :) Thank you!
Update - somebody asked me what type of books I like. Here is my response:
I took up Comparative Literature back in college. I love to read more of the classics as well as contemporary writings, books on
writing, poetry books, and children's book even. LOL. I love reading and I love learning. I especially love witty writers who show a perspective of what life is such as Milan Kundera, Kurt Vonnegut and Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

It has been a looooong time since I last logged in. I was going through some of the BC stuff I've received since I started participating here and I was overwhelmed by what I saw. THANK YOU VERY MUCH to all those who've been a part of my Bookcrossing experience!
I feel so bad for not having the same amount of time I used to right when I started BC. I hope I could thank all of you personally but I don't have enough time. I'll try catching up once again very soon! Again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH GUYS! Much love, Sinang!
August 2006 - busy BC month!
Thanks to my mystery winger!

I'm quite new here (although I've registered quite some time ago) and still unfamiliar. Ugh! Will be making rounds though. I'd love to familiarize myself with this. Bookcrossing sounds good! <3
