Recent Book Activity

Some basic info:
For anyone trying to cut down on shipping costs, media mail costs $1.59 for the first pound and an additional .47 for the second pound! More info is available here.

Most of the books on my TBR list are books that I have bought for myself or were given to me as gifts. I usually read BC books within a week of receiving them so that I can keep them moving. I am open to trading books that are listed as available, most of which are purchased second hand with the intent of being released in the wild.

About my numbers: only books which are released into the wild are listed as wild releases. Any books which are traded, part of rings/rays, or given to other people (regardless of method) are journaled but are not listed as wild releases. To date, I have released 85 books into the wild, 7 of which have been caught. I have hunted and caught one book that was released in the wild. The rest of my caught/found numbers are trades, rings/rays, or RABCKs.

The purpose of my rings/rays is to share particular books with other BC members. The purpose of my rings/rays is NOT to have a book that other people want to read sitting at someone's house for months on end while everyone else on the list waits. To that end, I have a few rules for my rings/rays. If you are unable to abide by these rules, please do not sign up.

My ring/ray guidelines:
(1) Read and send the book to the next person within ONE month
(2) Pay for delivery confirmation and post the DC # in your journal entry
(3) Journal the book when you receive it and again when you mail it to the next person
