I am a very keen reader. Just now I am an active member of 2 literary groups. We gather every fortnight and discuss what we have just read. It is sometimes a little overwhelming to be forced to read so many books. And I must admit, that I, sometimes, donot find the time. Or I speed up the reading pace, and this may be a bad solution, if it is one of those boooks you simply must enjoy in small slices. A third possibility is to reread the book. My favourite authors are old guys like Graham Greene, Thorkild Hansen (Danish), and Iris Murdoch. I am reading just now about Leonora Christina, a Danish 'princess',who spent 22 years in a horrible prison. 'Memory of Misery' is her own story about her imprisonment. (Jammers Minde).
I donot prefer a special genre, but the book must have a certain literary quality.
