Recent Book Activity

Hello everyone, my name is Iris - signed up on Christmas day, 2007! I first heard about bookcrossing on the postcrossing.com website, and since I am a lover of both books and snail mail, it seemed natural that I join here.

I live in Hong Kong, China, which is a lovely place to live, but it's not the best bookcrossing place. I would say it's almost impossible to happen across a bookcrossing book in Hong Kong, but you never know, right? I can only keep my eyes peeled and fingers crossed.

My favorite authors are Ernest Hemingway and Oscar Wilde, among many others, too many to list here. Fact is, ever since I was a little girl I would spend every waking moment reading. I have an old photo of me reading in my pyjamas and that just really exemplifies my whole life experience - I am 110% bookworm!

I really hope to make new friends here and exchange many books. As much as I would like to catch wild books, I have a feeling that most of my bookcrossing experience will be in swaps and rings etc. I will try to change my part of the world one book at a time!
