Recent Book Activity

What to say?! I'm an avid book reader - loving all sorts of stuff from science fiction/fantasy to biographies of rock stars! I'm 37, a mother to one son (4 yr old) & twin girls (2 yrs old), my darling oldest son was cruelly & suddenly taken from me by Leukaemia in September 2007, aged just 8 years. I live in a beautiful rural area now. I'm a "struggling artist" - I make cards, Altered Art (including altered books!), bags, jewellery & clothes. I'm a mature student, volunteer, vegan, organic gardener, Marmite lover, tea drinking, purple, black & pink clothes wearing...

I'm always trying to raise funds to help out two charities in my son's memory and also to further the BookCrossing cause - there is a link above with my Ebay sales on - always lots of great bargains to be had - and often I throw in a BC book to tempt more members! :)

If anyone, anywhere sees books on my "shelves" that they are interested in then please feel free to PM me (click the little function under this box!). If you sort my shelves alphabetically and find a book with @ next to the title then this is ready for release straight away!

I collect *nice* books about rats (ie, not where they are portrayed as the "baddies"!). If you ever come across such a book then please contact me - I'd gladly do a trade and love searching charity/goodwill stores for books that people might like!
