Extended Profile

The picture is of my 5 year old son Zeke & the newest member of our family, Johnny! (The porch is not there anymore but we still have the kid and the dog!)

Anyway, on to my profile:
I read a wide variety of books & tend to fluctuate between Gail Godwin-type more relationships centered writing (girlie stuff) & extremely pulpy suspense (my latest favorite is Virginia Lanier but I am also into Jonathan Kellerman, both embarassingly bad & addictive.) I am a Methodist & am deeply spiritual while also being very open minded. I was born & raised in New Orleans & loved it there. I love the idea of Book Crossing but I have to say it is costing me money.

My wish list:
Rebekah by Orson Scott Card
Sarah by Orson Scott Card
The Unconsoled by Ishiguro
Gridlock by Ben Elton
Confessions of a Master Jewel Thief by Bill Mason
Hopscotch by Julio Cortázar (in English)
I Read it in the Wordless Book by Betty Smartt Carter
Rumors of Another World by Phillip Yancey
Roxaboxen by Alice McLerran
Uptown, Downtown by Elsie Martinez
Serpent in Paradise by Dea Birkett
Naked Happy Girls by Andrew Einhorn and Emma Jane Taylor
Women by Women by Stephanie Kunen and Sophie Hack
I Am My Lover by Joani Blank and Phyllis Christopher
The Neon Bible by J K Toole
Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds - Mackay
I Have Lived a Thousand Years: Growing Up in the Holocaust - Livia Bitton-Jackson
We are Witnesses: 5 Diaries of Teenagers Who Died in the Holocaust - Jacob Boas
How to Be a Canadian: Even If You Already are One - Will Ferguson
Born on a Blue Day - Daniel Tammet
