Recent Book Activity

Semi retired after 24 years with Bell. I worked a couple of years after as a consultant in Quality Assurance, now deciding whether to focus more on retirement. Into photography (graffiti and nature), reading, sitting in a pub with friends and socializing. I like hip-hop and breakdancing (as a spectator!). Kids are gone, just me and the cats and a big pile of books in this house - lots of room to add shelves! Some books I still treasure so much I need to find second copies to release. Some are so bad I should just chuck them out - but maybe someone else would appreciate them more?
Always a challenge to figure out good places to release books, other than at a Bookcrossing. I like mysteries, technothrillers, and Sci-Fi. Also books on nature, photography, art, design, science. Even making an effort to read some of the current "popular" books - according to CBC radio's reviews ;-)

I used to read a lot of heavy technical documentation for work, so while I can read the occasional serious non-fiction, I prefer to relax with a mystery or thriller.

I have a lot on my to-be-read shelf - but don't we all?
