Extended Profile
I just graduated from college this past May (my major was philosophy). I'm addicted to buying shoes and books, so I'm glad I found this place so that I have a way to clear off my bookshelf. I know, I know, I could have just sold them to a used bookstore,
but this is just so much neater! I have ecclectic tastes in terms of books, which I am sure you can tell just by looking at my bookshelf. As for writers/books/genres I am interested in but have not really registered (because I just can't give up these books
yet!) are the following: Neil Gaiman, David Sedaris, Sarah Vowell, philosophy texts (esp. the medieval period or the 20th century (esp. analytic & logic)), art history books (especially 20th century art & architecture), mangas, graphic novels, and funny memoirs
(in the tradition of Sedaris, Vowell, etc.).
Everything I have registered here are available for trade or RABCK, although I do have plans for some of them. Please check the journal entry before requesting a book! I can only do trades/RABCKs for people in the US or Canada at this particular moment, since
I like being able to be the international person in bookrings/rays, and I can't afford to ship internationally for trades/RABCKs, too. Sacrifices need to be made in the name of finances. So, sorry to the international BCers -- I hope to offer international
trades/RABCKs once I win the lottery, or something like that. ;-)
